  • Secondary consultation

    Gatehouse offers a free secondary consultation service for industry professionals (e.g. child protection workers, teachers, support workers, GPs) working with children and families in situations involving child sexual harm/assault or harmful/problematic sexual behaviour.

    Education and training

    Gatehouse provides education and training to various agencies including community services, education providers, legal services and police on a variety of topics including: 

    • what is sexual assault or sexual violence?
    • the impact of sexual abuse on children, young people and their families
    • working with children who engage in harmful or problematic sexual behaviours
    • responding to harmful or problematic sexual behaviours in schools
    • responding to sibling sexual abuse
    • supporting a child/young person who has disclosed sexual abuse
    • working with survivors of sexual violence and those who have engaged in sexually harmful/problematic behaviour from a trauma focused model of recovery.
